My Apologies...

I am so sorry that I have been MIA the past several weeks. Unfortunately, my boyfriends grandfather passed away and we have been dealing with the emotional stress of losing him. We also moved out a couple days after his passing and have been trying to get settled into our new house and get organized. As if all these changes weren't enough we have been slammed with work! Now don't get me wrong I'm totally not complaining about being busy, I love, it, but its so much with everything else going on. Not to mention through the move I somehow lose my camera, which has halted all picture taking of my beautiful manis. The good new is I FOUND IT! Yesterday I happened to look in one of my clutches and ta-da!

Before I went on my little break I was participating in the ABC Challenge so I believe I have two letters that I need to make up for. I'm hoping to get one in tomorrow and the next Tuesday so I can be right on track for Wednesdays. Also since Valentines day is right around the corner I'm thinking of doing a little giveaway. Stay tuned for more information regarding the giveaway! So exciting, my first one ever!

I just wanted to say a few words about Alex's grandfather, Alvy, he was 94 when he passed and was such an incredible man. He was so welcoming and made you feel like part of the family. He never got mad or let anything stress him out and knew that things would always work out. This past year when we found out Alex was sick, we moved in with Alvy and Alex's mom so we could kind of all help take care of each other. I feel so fortunate to have gotten that year with him. We were able to become very close and he would call me his granddaughter. I knew when we moved in that we were right where we needed to be at the time. I loved being able to be there for him every day and also so blessed to have gotten to have a special connection with him, that I either wise probably never would have. I know Alex is very grateful that we lived there and he got that time with him. Alex's grandpa was pretty much his father, he's the one who taught him everything he knows about farming, and life, etc as his father has never been a part of his life. I don't think that Alex could have had a better role model in life.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great work week!
