Halloween Pedicure

 

Happy Halloween Everyone!

 

For today's pedicure I did something festive for Halloween. For this pedicure I used Wet N Wild's Club Havana and Kiss's Nail Art Paint in Black.

 

First I painted all my toes in Club Havana and let them dry. Next I painted a diagonal stripe on all my toes with Kiss's Nail Art Paint black and painted the top section in. After that I wasn't too impressed so I wanted to add a little something extra. On both my big toes I added rhinestones along the diagonal and then all on all my other toes I grabbed Kiss's Nail Art Paint in silver and painted along the diagonal as well.

NYC Manhattan

My first post, this is so exciting!

Tonight I did a mani with NYC's Manhattan that I just picked up tonight from Target. It is a very pretty deep purple and goes on very nicely, however, it did bubble quite a bit and I ended up having to do three coats to get rid of the bubbles.

Here's the end result:

I like the deep rich color and once I put it on I instantly felt sophisticated! I'll probably end up adding some glitter to it later to add a little something extra.

On another note I am sooo excited because today I ordered my very first MASH image plates! I cannot wait for them to come in and test them out!

New Beginnings

Welcome to Pretty Pink & Chic!

My name is Brittany and I'm a 23 year old who loves nail polish, jewelery, and fashion. My boyfriend, Alex, and I, of 2 1/2 years, own a mobile detailing business called Diamond Detail.  In February of this year our relationship was really tested. Alex had been really sick for 3 weeks and just wasn't getting any better. He went back to the doctor and the doctor ordered a blood test, later that night the doctor called and told us that he needed to go down the the ER right away. After the two longest hours of my life we were called back and told that Alex had Leukemia. He was admitted to the hospital immediately and was transferred to Stanford for treatment. Alex is currently in remission and is doing better than ever! Alex is the love of my life and I am waiting ever so patiently for him to POP the question... :)

I love anything and everything to do with fashion, jewelery, and nails. I love making my own jewelry and have a major addiction to nail polish! My focus for Pretty Pink & Chic is to post an array of fashion trends and tips, such as hair styles, nails, make up tips & tricks, accessorizing, and fashion.

I'm looking forward to my blogging journey! :)
